The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution “On establishment of the Interim Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on investigating facts of mass killings of civilians in the cities of Odesa, Mariupol and Krasnoarmiisk, as well as in other cities in the south and east of Ukraine”

The main task of the Interim Investigative Commission is set to be obtaining of complete and accurate information regarding circumstances of mass killings of civilians in the cities of Odesa, Mariupol and Krasnoarmiisk, as well as in other cities in the south and east of Ukraine.

The people’s deputy Kisse Anton Ivanovych is elected the chair of the Investigative Commission, and the people’s deputy Merikov Vadym Ivanovych – the deputy chairman of the Commission.

Duration of the Interim Investigative Commission is set to be two months since the day of adoption of this resolution.

Report of the Interim Investigative Commission on the work done shall be heard during the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine not later than June 15, 2014.

The respective draft resolution was registered under No. 4852.
